NICK GITSIS - Co-Pilot

Capt. Nikos Gitsis is one of the founders of South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR). He is an Air Transportation Office/Federal Aviation Administration commercial rated pilot. Prior to setting up SEAIR with long-time friend Iren Dornier, Gitsis was a ferry pilot of international ferry flights of jet and piston (single, twin,
transport) category aircraft in North Atlantic, South Atlantic Crossings, Europe, US, Canada, Africa, South America, Caribbean Islands, and Russia.
 
He is currently the director for administration of SEAIR. He is active in all aspects of the airline business, including flight operations, logistics, financing, aircraft acquisition, sales & marketing, and the publication of SEAIR's inflight magazine.
 
Gitsis is also the President of Gitsis Holdings, which owns PonyXpress Convenience Stores in upstate New York, and operates gas stations and groceries. He is the Vice President of Sands Restaurant which operates a string of multi-unit family restaurants in Rochester, New York. He is an Aviation Technology graduate of Eastern Airlines Aviation Program at AIMS College in Greeley, Colorado and studied applied mathematics at the Rochester Institute of Technology at Rochester, New York.
